real idiocracy?

dumb kids supposedly getting dumber, though it’s also possible crotchety teachers are just getting more bitter… As I said when I addressed that movie, it really seems to me that we do lose a little of our intellectual strength just the way we deal with one another day to day. It’s much easier to get away with reading less, thinking less, and responding less, not necessarily because we want to be stupider, but just because it’s easier and there’s something on TV…

    I wrote an article too on the phenomenon of people taking the path of least resistance even if it ends up destroying humanity. This has serious consequences when it affects the structure and quality of government officials.
